PLEASE NOTE: Our Winter session classes will take place ONLINE in a web-conference format. Thank you for your patience as we make this transition in an effort to continue providing you with the joy of dance.

I want to emphasize from the get go that this isn't a class meant to stress people out, or make them feel bad about their motivation, or lack thereof. This is a class that will hopefully give us the time and inclination to do the things we want to do and have fun TOGETHER!
The first 2 classes will be focused on determining what it is you (each individual student) want to work on, and then figuring out the best ways to do that and developing a plan of sorts. This could be ANYTHING, including stuff not related to dance. You could want to work of flexibility or technique, or you could want to do meal planning, or meditation, or knitting or a combination of things! Truly, anything you've been wanting to do, but haven't been able to get motivated about.
Each student will get extra online meeting time with me the first two weeks and I'll help develop plans as best I can. These plans will be what you'll be doing in the rest of the 8 weeks: timed interval practices for an hour during class on Thursdays. Each person might be doing something different in the intervals (working on their own thing) but we'll all be coming together to do it! The timed part of it adds a sense of urgency, focus, and fun, I promise. You may decide your plan is to do the same type of activity in each interval, or you may decide you meditate in one, do hip work in one, and finish with flexibility.

After the intervals, you can then choose to stay for post-class discussion from 7:00-7:30pm. We'll be talking about our experiences developing these plans and executing them, I'll be taking suggestions for how to make the class better, and we can help each other through any issues we may be having with the motivational process. As mentioned at the beginning of this long description, this is an experimental class and your feedback may change what it looks like as the class moves forward into the term.
Class Prerequisite: At least one term of beginner belly dance of any style.

Volume Discount for Multiple Registrations
When you register for for more than 1 class valued at $150 you can apply the the class discounts as follows. Please also note; due to classes going online, we have lowered the prices to reflect the change.
First class value $150 = no discount
Second class value $135 = $155 or $15 discount
Third class (or more) value $120 = $135 or $30 discount
Classes valued at $125 or $135 do not apply for the discount.
