This 60 minute class is perfect whether you are new to bellydance or even if you have NEVER taken a dance class! Our daytime classes are perfect for shift-workers, stay-at-home moms, students, retirees!
You have taken the first step and we will take care of you for the rest.
Whether you are new to bellydance or a returning for a second go around (we actually suggest doing this class 3 or 4 times) this class will speak to that dance spirit inside of you. You know, the one who likes the sparkles and the hip bumps.
Here is what you learn:
- dance posture, alignment and isolation of the body's core muscle groups.
- basic footwork, hip isolations, undulations and shimmies.
- combinations of movements
We dance barefoot and you will just need comfortable yoga style clothes to move in - a coin hipscarf is recommended and available at the studio. A water bottle is great to bring too as you will sweat!
This class allows drop-ins for $20 per class or with a class-card for greater savings! If you can commit to ten weeks, please do register so we know how many to expect.
