This 90 minute class is perfect whether you are new to bellydance or even if you have NEVER taken a dance class!

You have taken the first step and we will take care of you for the rest.
Learning to bellydance starts with a foundation of posture and isolations. Next you combine different isolations to form specific moves. By adding simple footwork and arm pathways, you then create steps and combinations. Setting these isolations, moves, steps, and combinations to music is what shapes a choreography.
In 6 weeks, Karen will take you from basic posture and isolations to a full choreography. Come and enjoy the challenge, embrace the beautiful, experience the fun!
We dance barefoot and you will just need comfortable yoga style clothes to move in - a coin hipscarf is recommended and available at the studio. A water bottle is great to bring too as you will sweat!
