It’s BACK!! Tuesdays are just perfect for Drill and Choreography Craft, and sweaty, challenging WORK! There will be a yoga & pilates based warm up, followed by drills exploring themes and trends in Fusion Belly Dance. Stretch & strength exercises will all plentiful in these decadently action packed 2 hour sessions as we work on crafting confident, sharp, & ooey-gooey fluid dance. With a focus one getting down to the delicious nitty gritty of Craft + Work, we will work our technique, and honing that elusive "It" quality that draws spectators into a charismatic dancer's world of expression.
This is a multi-leveled class with advanced beginners to professional welcome. Requests are always welcome. Most classes will finish with a short combination exploring specific movement themes, transitions, and aspects of performance. Working knowledge of basic bellydance moves is a pre-requisite for this class. Not sure if this class is right for you? Just ask! Bring your (optional) yoga mat, water bottle, and an open mind.
About Saskia: with over 15 years of performance, and choreography experience, and almost as many years of teaching experience, she will help you hone your craft with classes designed for multi-levels and lots of room for encouraging personalized feedback.
