April 2012 American Tribal Style Intermediate Mon 8:30 - 9:30PM

Welcome to American Tribal Style with it's gorgeous, colourful  flowing skirts and earthy moves that have captured all of our hearts. 

Starts: Monday, April 16th at 8:30 to 9:30PM

Duration: 10 weeks

Recital:  Optional but recommended

Prerequisite:  Due to the cumulative nature of the class content a minimum of 1-3 sessions of the Introductory level ATS is required as well as instructor approval.

This class is for students who have mastered the ATS beginner movements and improvised style and who are ready for greater challenges. You will need to have a good comfort level with both leading and following and with your finger cymbals.

Your gifted instructor Brandi, is an accredited teacher of  ATS and the artistic director of Three Eyes Tribal of Edmonton.


Here is what you will learn:

  • the increased repertoire from the fast and slow ATS movement vocabularies
  • more advanced group improvisation skills used in ATS - the techniques behind dancing together without choreography.
